Norwalk, CT - September 15, 2021 – Today, our HomeServe Cares Foundation is excited to share its Summer 2021 quarterly newsletter. The Foundation, with its mission to spread hope and support communities, one home at a time, continued making an impact around the U.S. even as the COVID-19 pandemic gripped people and communities everywhere.
Some of the Foundation's notable highlights these last few months included:
- Donating four iPads each to CHI Memorial and Erlanger Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee,
- Supporting the Louisville Water Company's Drops of Kindness campaign, and
- Completing pro bono HomeServe Cares jobs valued at more than $44,000 so homeowners in need could safely stay in their homes.
Since its founding in April 2019, the Foundation has completed more than 225 HomeServe Cares jobs valued at over $500,000. In that same time, the Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 in grants to support non-profit charities and community organizations. Additionally, the Foundation along with HomeServe employees have supported over 80 organizations through monetary donations and more than 1,200 volunteer hours.
